After two years of restorations and redesigning (2005/06) the hotel Silesia, near the regional crown of the Görlizter, the Hausberg (420m), appears in a radiant new glow.
The building is under protection of historical monuments in the style of the historic founder period and is a place of interest in the city of Görlitz. Which was designated by the federal minister of building construction Prof. Klaus Töpfer as the "table silver of the German unity".
We, the management and the employees of the house "Silesia" are endeavoured to make your stay as pleasant as possible. Our hotel is a familiar directed house in which cosiness and pleasant ambience stands the centre of our doing.
The 3 - star hotel has a 60 bed availability. All rooms are equipped with minibar, telephone, radio, Sat & TV, bathtub or shower. All floors can be reached by elevator.
In our restaurant you will be pampered with exclusively freshly cooked meals. A lot of our products are from ecological cultivation directly from the region.
In our menu you will find typical dishes of the schlesischen kitchen but vegetarians will also find their needs met.
As a special highlight we offer wine lovers bio-wine from biological cultivations from different areas.
Additionally to our comfortable restaurant we offer our guests a separate room for family events and club meetings, two conference rooms, a hotel bar and a summer terrace equipped with a charcoal barbeque.
Traffic location: The distance from the main train station from Görlitz to the hotel is 600 metres. The tram (line 2) stops right in front of the hotel. If you are travelling by car or bus we provide over a private illuminated parking lot .
Of course each guest will receive special arrangements to meet their needs and wishes.
Within the season ( all prices include breakfast) : single room between 49 and 65 Euros. Travel groups with eleven people or more will receive a discount.
We organise for you: car - and bicycle rental. Guided sightseeing tours, group trips ( includes providing a coach) We serve and escort your bus trip with trained tour guides into all regions of east Saxony and Niederschlesien.
